Ace the ACT Boot Camp

Class 1: February 20th from 4pm to 8pm: Boot Camp – Testing Skills, English and Science
Class 2: February 21st from 9am to 1pm: Boot Camp – Writing, Math and Reading
Fee: $30.00 for those registered before to Friday, February 13th. $35.00 for those registered after Friday, February 13th.
We will cover: all 4 ACT subject areas as well as invaluable test-taking strategies. You will leave with a plan for success. It will be a jam-packed two days but will not be boring. You will not get this kind of ACT preparation experience anywhere else. Upon registration, you will receive the required text for this class to help you gain additional personal study. The ACT test has an optional writing test. The writing section will be covered in detail as well. Snacks, Friday night dinner, and Saturday lunch provided.

Participants can choose from one of the following classes:
- "Wood"n't You Know It: We are skipping Spring and hopping right into Summer with this cool project! (Cost $15.00)
- Ace of Rockets: If you missed the catapult, don't cry a big tear. The Ace of Fun has created a rocket launcher that is fun for the entire family and can be used over and over again. Best of all, it's more than affordable. Hurry, this class will fill up fast. (Cost $6.50)
- Cloverbuds (Grades K-2): "Egg"stra special chicks and boys will dig this project. We're going to have a "bloomin" good time! Three awesome projects to get your Cloverbud ready for Spring. (Cost $15.00)

Interested in learning how to code?
If you have basic computer skills (such as typing and searching the internet) and if you are 11 or older, then 4-H welcomes you to come learn how to code. Adults and youth are both welcome!
When is the code club?
December 12, 2014 from 2:00PM-4:30PM.

Coming Soon! 4-H FIRST LEGO League
What is FIRST LEGO League?
FIRST LEGO League (FLL) is a national youth robotics competition coming soon to Sevier County 4-H. FLL introduces youth, ages 9-14 to real-world engineering challenges, inspiring future scientists and engineers. Sevier County 4-H will begin FIRST LEGO League in Spring 2015. All youth ages 9-14 are invited to participate. If you would like to receive support from your community 4-H club (including access to robots and other related materials), youth must be enrolled in 4-H prior to participation. New information about FIRST LEGO League will be updated in the Sevier County 4-H website. Check back often for more information!
