4-H Summer Clubs

Registration information below!

Discovery 4-H Clubs:  the newest addition to 4-H.  This is a great way to give kids the opportunity to participate in 4-H and is so easy!  First, go to and click on the Discovery 4-H Clubs link.  Choose a club or topic area and see how easy it is to start your own club.  Fill out the short questionnaire and you are DONE!

                 *All 4-H leaders must complete online training, volunteer application and pass a background check.


411 Crafters:  led by Matea Bradshaw of Monroe.  This club will meet Thursdays or Fridays through the months of June and July at the Monroe Community Center or Matea’s house.  There will be a fee per project and/or a list of supplies for you to bring.  Projects include crafts, cooking, and beginning sewing.  Classes begin June 5th or 6th.  Space limited to 12 youth.  Register by calling the 4-H Office at 435-893-0470 or by contacting Matea.

 Super Summer 4-H Day Camp:  Held June 17-19 at the Sevier Co. Administration Building for youth grades 3-12.  This three day camp is $45.00 and participants are asked to bring several large flat boxes, in addition to providing their own lunches.   This is a craft boot camp, so there will be some fun projects for kids to display at the Sevier County Fair.  Projects include a class taught by Maxine of Knit N Craft, a large wall clock, and many others!  The camp runs from 10 am to 4 pm all three days.  Click HERE to register!

4-H Art of Math:   Held June 23rd, 25th, 30th, July 2nd, 7th, 9th, 11th starting at 10 am and ending at 11:30 am at the Sevier County Administration building.  This fun club will include a little bit of science, math, engineering, art and a WHOLE LOT OF FUN!  Click HERE to register!

4-H Maker Camp: Held on Tuesdays, starting July 7th and ending August 15th from 10 am to 3 pm at the Sevier County Administration building.  This is a FREE summer camp for building, tinkering and exploring where you can participate in-person or online through Google+.  To learn more about what we will be doing this summer, check out this list of Maker projects.  To participate, join us each week at the 4-H Office, 250 North Main, Richfield.  You may come for the full day, or partial day, as your schedule permits. 

4-H Robotics:  Held July 11th and July 18th from 2-5 pm at the Sevier County Administration Building.  Youth will learn how to build and program a Mindstorm robot!  This is a FREE event!  Click HERE to register.

4-H Junior Teen Retreat:  June 27 from 9 am– 1 pm at the Richfield City Lions Park.  For youth grades 5-8 only!  Teens will do a basic training course, some fun games, human foosball game and end with a build a burger BBQ.  Event is free, but youth must register!  Click HERE to register!

 Beginning Tennis:  Held July 21-23 and July 28-30 at 8 am at the RHS tennis courts.  This is taught by our 4-H Teen leaders.  Cost is $4.00 and youth will need to bring their own tennis racket and 3-4 tennis balls.  Contact Nan Singleton at 435-893-0470 to register.

 Shooting Sports:  Held every Monday beginning in June at 6:00 pm in Aurora.  Youth will need to have the Hunters Safety Certification to participate.  Cost varies.  For more information, or to register, contact Jordan Bosh at 435-201-3361.

 4-H Patriotic Party:  Held June 25th, 26th and 30th.   This is an introduction to a new community club in Sevier County taught by Barbie Pearson.  Includes 4th of July crafts and food, with lots of ideas for 4-H in Sevier County.  This club will be held at the Monroe Community Center building and costs $20.00 for all three days.  Space is limited to 12 youth.  Click HERE to register.

 Rockets to the Rescue Day Camp:  Will be held Wednesday, July 16, from 10 am-7 pm.   Taught by Lance of Larsen’s Ace Hardware, cost will be $25.00 per person, which includes a t-shirt.  Rotate through 4 different stations and make a rocket that will be launched that day.  Youth will need to bring their own lunch, along with a 2 liter bottle and 12 empty toilet paper rolls.  Summer BBQ dinner will be served to participants and parents! Beginning Knitting:  Held May 27, June 3, 10, 17 from 4:00-5:30 pm. Youth will learn basic knitting skills taught by Julia Parslow, and they will make their own hat, scarf or potholder.   Cost is $25.00 and includes all materials.


Beginning Loom Knitting:  Held May 28, June 4, 11, 18 from 4:00-5:30 pm.  Youth will make their own hat or scarf.  Cost is $25.00 and includes all materials.  Taught by Julia Parslow.


Beginning Cross Stitch:  Held May 29, June 5, 12, 19 from 4:00-5:30 pm.  Youth will make a small cross stitch picture.  Cost is $25.00 and includes all materials.  Taught by Julia Parslow.
